Best trainers for a holiday?

Hi everyone. I’m going to Vietnam in February and I’m looking to get some new trainers which will work hard for everything from actual travelling (i’m a leggings and a hoody on the plane gal), to wearing around day to day, and I’d love to be able to workout in them too.

I already own suede gazelles, which aren’t super practical if it rains, FYI!

Salomons all the way! Super comfy, designed for walking/climing/hiking and look sick. I love these ones x

Ok don’t hate on me BUT my husband swears by these Croc trainers for travel. They’re light, comfy, great for hot weather as they have all those holes in the fabric, comfortable and he even wears them in the sea and they don’t slip… Plus, they’re fairly harmless when it comes to design which is not common for a Croc!

I highly rate Ecco trainers - they are waterproof (look out for Gore-tex) and comfortable.

I went in March and it was SO humid so make sure you choose something super breathable!

any pair of trainers from asics! they’re very practical and also have some really cool options!!

I have some of these they’re great especially if you’ll be getting any running/long walks in as super comfy!

I run and also do a lot of long distance walks over all terrains (as we have 3 very energetic dogs) and swear by Inov8 - They are comfortable from day 1, I have never had to break them in and they are amazing for all round activities.
I should have also added, that I wear Asics for running on the treadmill and in the gym and they are great but be careful if you choose these, as they run small sized, so you need to size up.
Also, I always wore Asics until my husband started fell running and entering mountain marathons, he put me on to to Inov8 for outdoor running and mountain activities and I haven’t looked back.

I love new balance ones as they’re super light and work with a cool outfit, leggins and for sports! These ones here (the dad shoe) - perfect for traveling, and I’ve done long walks with them too!
